People For Animals (PFA) along with the local police conducted a raid at a house near Jama Masjid in Central Delhi and recovered hundreds of endangered birds and animals. One person was arrested.

Ozair Husain of PFA told the media that a team along with the local police went to the house and recovered over 100 wild hares, 200 wild quails, 32 rosy-ringed parakeets, 88 munias and ducks. A tiger skin and mongoose hair were also recovered from the house.

According to the police, the family was involved in selling such endangered species earlier too.
